Coach Clay Banks is an entertainment industry specialist and actors advocate. He's a long-standing member of SAG-AFTRA, a Field Expert for Backstage magazine, teaches acting courses at the esteemed American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA), conducts new member seminars and workshops at SAG-AFTRA headquarters in Hollywood and is Founder and Head Coach of Clay Banks Studio International (CBSI), one of LA's highly respected on-camera acting studios and production companies. To date, Coach Banks has trained thousands of aspiring and working actors from around the world, has hundreds of alumni and he's helped two actors win their Emmy’s. CBSI is one of LA’s more established and well respected on-camera studios with an outstanding reputation for producing skilled and disciplined actors. Head Coach Clay Banks is an award-winning veteran coach and filmmaker with over three decades of experience in front of as well as behind the camera.

Coach Lauren is a long time student of The Process with a wonderful ability to empower knowledge and guidance to not only adult actors but young actors as well. She graduated CSULB with a degree in Theater Arts and has directed numerous live shows for Jr High and High School age artists. As a theater teacher, Lauren has taught theater history along with acting theory. Under the guides of Coach Banks, Lauren has developed a special talent for asking her students a series of questions that naturally lead them down the thought process to effective script analysis. She has also become one heck of a writer!

Coach Geo is an actor/director with over twelve years of experience. He graduated from two conservatory programs in English and Spanish respectively before embarking on a career that spans over Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. Upon arrival in LA, Geovanni quickly rose from student films to independent films and then his first upgrade from featured background to under five. It was around this time that he began studying The Process at CBSI. Now, Geovanni is a recurring guest star on The CW show “Dynasty” and the OWN show “The Haves and Have Nots.” 

Coach Joe is a graduate of the CBSI Process. Joe is an amazing CBSI Coach! He’s a working actor, published writer, motivational speaker, and family man. As a writer, Joe and his wife Christine co-authored The Thriving Artists TTA: a groundbreaking book that teaches actors insider secrets for lifelong success in the industry as they master the demands of life, finances, and the career they so desire to achieve. And… he also has one amazing, effervescent personality that you just can’t help learning from!

Coach Jack is a graduate of The Process. He’s studied under the direct leadership of Coach Banks for seven meticulous years. Jack’s a well-skilled actor with a special added gift… his profound ability to communicate writer’s intent.  This gift has opened up an ideal opportunity, not only for Jack as one of our interim teachers and coach of the CBSI Process but also to coach you, the aspiring on-camera actor.

Richard is CBSI’s go-to Vocal Coach. He does private voice coaching for CBSI students as well as teaching weekly classes with Voice, Breath, and Muscularity. Richard has been a working actor since 1976 and has had a long career as a professional coach with companies such as the Young Company at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival, the Academy of Radio Broadcasting, and Gordon Hunt and his Acting Workshop. He has Guest Starred on many television shows including Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, The Practice, Seventh Heaven and Third Rock From the Sun. He is also a produced writer for television (Renegade, Highlander, The Perfect Nanny).
